In terms of the expected life cycle of the battery, PowerOak use automobile-level 3C high rate battery cells that are rated for over 2,000 cycles. This means it has a much longer life cycle to similar power banks of this size – most of our competitors are only rated at 500 cycles.
In terms of quality of the battery, there is a built in battery management system BMS with overcharge, overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, overheating and other protection, which means it will do none of the above!
